Sister Mary Jane Koenigs Receives Award at BCU

Sister Mary Jane Koenigs was honored with the Clare Diversity Award at Briar Cliff University (BCU) at a ceremony May 10.

The Clare Diversity Award, “is given to an employee who has demonstrated, through positive interactions with others, respect, and value for differing backgrounds and points of view, along with efforts to foster a more inclusive and equitable learning and work environment within the university community,” read BCU interim President Steve Freeman.

Sister Mary Jane has ministered at BCU since 1973 and is currently the Technical Services and Interlibrary Loan Librarian.
